Dear Family and Friends, We hope everyone is having a great summer. I just realized I had not posted any updates to our site since March! It's been a busy spring and summer with lots of travel for me, so I have not had much time to update. We were very busy in May and June working on the yard, filling the pots with flowers, and getting the outside looking good after the drought last year. I must say it looks so lush this year since we have had so much rain. Since Randy is in full retired status, he's had time to really do a fantastic job with the house and yard. But I'd have to say his most significant achievement is as the "finder" (or maybe more accurately the "findee") of our newest family member. We have been adopted by a kitten named Tabatha. Her story and pictures of the rest of our "owners" is on the new page called "Cats Klug". Here's a sneak peek at Tabatha ~
She is such a joyful addition to the Klug family. She is full of energy and like all kittens, in to everything. She has a loving sweet nature and gets along well with Ginny and Maxie. Well, okay the truth is Maxie is adjusting! Maxie is not one to accept strangers easily. But Tabatha continued to engage her until she realized that they can be friends and loving. We've also finally decided to remodel our master bathroom. It's taken us a while to get to it, but again, with Randy home full time he can supervise the work and make sure it turns out the way we want. We've found a great builder/remodeler and contracted with him this week. Since I was off work the 4th of July holiday week, we had time to make most of the selections and get a plan in place. We expect the work to start the end of August/first of September. So, that's the current news! Take care. Love, Randy and Carey
Latest News After some deliberation and decision that it's been way too long since we went on a cruise, we finally settled on a great itinerary for next spring. We are going on the MS Maasdam in March 2011 for an Eastern Caribbean cruise. I've created a new page for information about our plans and will use the page to update with photos upon our return!
